Our
Achievements
Throughout the years, Beautiful Gate has provided
accommodation, training services and advancement
in fees for education for a total of 150 resident-members
and has successfully assisted 64 disabled persons
who have developed enough skills to be independent
on their own.
We also organised activities, provide employment
assistance, information service, counseling service
and skill training to more than 1000 non-resident
members and their families.
Awards
January 2000
Beautiful Gate was featured in Malaysia Book of
Records for presenting the largest participation
in a wheelchair dance at Putra Stadium, Bukit
Jalil.
September 2000
Sia Siew Chin, the executive director of Beautiful
Gate was awarded “Outstanding Young Malaysian
year 2000” by the Junior Chamber Malaysia
under the category of Humanitarian and Voluntary
Service.
February 2001
Sia Siew Chin, the executive director of Beautiful
Gate was awarded the “Outstanding Young
Disabled in Asia Pacific Region” by the
Taiwan Disabled Association.
December 2003
Beautiful Gate was again featured in Malaysia
Book of Records for organising the largest 3-wheel
motor convoy started from Sunway Pyra mid.
December 2004
Sia Siew Chin, the executive director of Beautiful
Gate was awarded 'Tokoh OKU' by Ministry of Women,
Family and Social Development of Malaysia.
